Q2 2024 Food Delivery Apps Surge in Downloads & Usage

In the second quarter of 2024, the food delivery service industry has seen some interesting shifts in user engagement and downloads. Data from Sensor Tower reveals how these top apps have fared on a unified platform.

Rappi: Market and Food Online maintained a strong performance with downloads peaking at around 98K in late April and active weekly users reaching up to 1.6M in late April. The weekly revenue figures fluctuated, with a notable peak of approximately $7M at the end of April and May.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery, despite not generating revenue, experienced a steady increase in downloads, especially towards the end of the quarter, with a high of over 82K. Weekly active users showed a consistent pattern, hovering just under 1M for most of the quarter.

Uber Eats Orders showed a modest download count, with numbers generally ranging between 2K to 3K. The app's weekly active users remained fairly stable, with minor fluctuations around the 25K mark.

DoorDash - Food Delivery also didn't generate revenue but saw a consistent download rate, with numbers ranging from 1.3K to 1.6K. Weekly active users saw a slight upturn towards the end of the quarter, with figures just above 30K.

PedidosYa - Delivery App had the lowest download numbers among the top apps, staying below 1.1K for the entire quarter. However, its weekly active users showed a slight increase, ending the quarter with over 21K active users.
